Women Empowerment Cell:

St. Ignatius Institute of Health Sciences has established a Women Empowerment Cell with a view to take up women's issues and problems to empower women in the campus.

Aim:

The cell aims at creating awareness of their rights and duties and provides a platform for women to share their experiences and views regarding their status in the society in order to uplift them.

Objectives

• To boost the status of women through literacy, education, training and awareness creation.
• To focus on finding emotional issues, stress level and counseling accordingly.
• To motivate& inculcate entrepreneurial attitude among young girls.
• To organize Health Awareness Programmes, Conduction of recreational activities and craft work sessions.
