About the Initiative
“DHATRU” is a noble Organ Donation Pledge Drive initiated to create awareness among students, faculty, and the community regarding the importance of organ donation.
The initiative seeks to inspire individuals to understand that organ donation is a life-saving gift capable of transforming and saving up to eight lives.
Aim
To create awareness about organ donation among students and faculty and encourage voluntary organ donation pledges through the NOTTO portal, promoting the noble message of saving lives through the “Promise of Life” initiative.
OBJECTIVE
- To educate students and staff about the importance and benefits of organ donation.
- To encourage voluntary registration for organ donation through NOTTO.
- To spread awareness that organ donation is considered only in cases of brain death.
- To clarify that family consent is essential for organ donation.
- To remove myths and misconceptions related to organ donation.
- To involve student and staff representatives in promoting awareness within institutions and society.
- To inspire social responsibility, compassion, and humanitarian values among the younger generation.
