Nurses Day was celebrated on May 12, 2023 by felicitating Sr. Winifred D Souza, retired senior staff nurse of St. Ignatius Hospital for her services. Ms.Aljeena, Ms.Akhila & Ms.Laya III year B.Sc. (N) students were also felicitated for donating their hair to the cancer patients.
The chief guest Mrs. Jennifer D’souza, Community Health Officer inaugurated the programme by unfolding the theme – Our Nurses Our Future.
