On the occasion of World Mental Health Day and to create awareness on suicide an awareness talk was organised for all staff of the institutions at the Seminar Hall of St. Ignatius Hospital from 10.10.2023 to 18.10.2023 by the department of Psychiatry of St. Ignatius Hospital. The topic was “Mental Health is a Universal Human Right”.
Also a Campus Creative corner was organised wherein the staff and students of the campus participated by creating a corner which would prove as an awareness to individuals on not to give up hope and commit suicide. The team from St. Ignatius Institute of Health Sciences won the third prize.
