The IV year B.Sc. (N) students organized health education for the patients and their attendants on the occasion of National Safe Motherhood Day at TSS Hospital, Sirsi on 11.04.2023. The students explained regarding the antenatal, intranatal, and post natal care, exercises, diet, and various schemes. The exercises were performed in the form of demo and various A.V aids were used for better understanding. Around 20 members gathered for the health education.
The III year GNM students organised health education at Maternal and Child Health Block in the Post natal block at Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences at Hubli on 11.04.2023. Health Education was imparted through skit, flash cards, leaflets, charts, postes, handouts and flipboard.
