Six NSS volunteers participated in a Health Education and Awareness Programme held on 16 January 2026 at four government schools in villages around Kumta, organized by Muktha Trust, Honavar. Accompanied by the Trust’s staff, the volunteers engaged students on key topics such as personal hygiene and its importance, healthy versus unhealthy food habits, the effects of mobile phone usage, good and bad manners, and awareness about good touch and bad touch. The programme aimed to promote holistic well-being and responsible behavior among school children.
