As part of the pre-campaign initiatives leading up to World Environment Day, the NSS Unit and the Department of Community Health Nursing organized two successful environmental drives to promote community cleanliness and ecological conservation.
Areangadi Cleanup Drive (May 29, 2026): The first initiative took place at Areangadi, Honavar. The drive was successfully conducted in the esteemed presence of distinguished guests, including Mr. Ganapati, Administrative Officer to Dr. Vaishali Naik, alongside actively participating students.
Kasarkod Beach Cleaning Drive (June 2, 2026): Continuing their environmental efforts, the NSS volunteers and the Community Health Nursing faculty collaborated with the management and staff of Eco Beach, Kasarkod, for a comprehensive beach cleanup drive aimed at marine conservation.
