As per the circular received from the District AIDS Control and Prevention Unit Karwar and District Health and Family Welfare Department, St.Ignatius Institute of Health sciences organized A Campaign on Prevention of HIV AIDS was conducted on 17/09/2024 at Honavar bus stand, Bhatkal circle, Market road as well as Government College of Honavar.
The campaign commenced at 9.00 a.m. at Honavar bus stand with the rally in the presence of Mr.Vinayak ICTC counselor and NACO representative Mr.Umesh Lab technician from Taluka hospital Honavar, Mr.Rajshekar Vandli PSI of Honavar, Mr. Domnic controller KSRTC, Honavar, Mr. Anthony Lopes PRO of St. Ignatius Hospital, Honavar, Sr. Susai Vice principal and NSS Programme officer of St Ignatius Institute of Health Sciences, Honavar and Mr.Rakesh Gomes Lecturer. The students captivated the audience with an energetic flash mob which highlighted the comprehensive health education on HIV/AIDS which was conducted across various locations.
