The 4th year B.Sc. (N) students observed World Malaria Day under the guidance of the Department of the Community Health Nursing on 25.04.2025. A community awareness programme was held at Tonka, Lower Kasarkod. The programme began with a rally to promote awareness on how to prevent malaria. The students actively participated by chanting slogans focused on eliminating mosquito breeding and promoting public hygiene. They also performed a skit to educate the community on the signs, symptoms, transmission and prevention of malaria.
