An Occupational Health Camp was organized on 19.04.2026 for the police personnel at the Town Police Station, Honavar by the 7th semester B.Sc. (N) students under the guidance of the Community Health Department in collaboration with St. Ignatius Hospital. The programme aimed to promote the overall health, well-being, and occupational safety of police personnel, who often work under stressful and demanding conditions. A general health check-up was done for the police personnel, where basic health parameters such as blood pressure, pulse rate, and general physical condition were assessed. Awareness talk on health was given by Dr. Ashik Hegde, General Physician and Mrs. Renee Furtado, HOD of counseling department gave a talk on stress management.
